- Merely “believing” in Jesus Christ does not make someone an authentic Christian. If that’s all it took, Satan would be a biggest one of all!

The message of the New Testament is NOT “Jesus is Savior” ( 37 times)…it is rather, “Jesus is LORD.” (7736 times).
LORDSHIP = AN END OF LIFE ON MY OWN TERMS.
The reason Christianity doesn’t “stick” for so many of us these days is because we “cut away” all the parts of the cross that we don’t like.

4. When it comes to your friends and family, don’t put God in a box.
My family will never get saved…my friends will never come to the Lord…

Acts 16:31 They said, "Put your entire trust in the Jesus. Then you'll live as you were meant to live - and everyone in your house included!"
Romans 15:7 So reach out and welcome one another to God's glory. Jesus did it; now you do it!

Choose to take negative thoughts captive…don’t allow them to hang around in your mind
5. To become a champion “Rocky” Christian…remember that when you get rid of the weeds…plant the flowers.

God wants to do some very big things in your life this next year.
There are already some big plans for what is going to be happening this next year at Oneighty…this year is going to be marked by things that are incredible…that’s going to be really amazing.
But to see God do something huge in your life…you have to stop making out in the backseat of life and experience the Lord in a real way in 2005
